Summary
Taking over Germany and ending that part of World War 2, the US directed their undivided attention to Japan who had just bombed Pearl Harbor and who we had been having huge casualties lost while fighting on little islands off the coast of Japan. The Government came to the conclusion that they would drop a newly developed bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, and continue on bombing civilian filled cities until Japan surrendered as a war tactic to speed end the horrible war.
This is a picture of the atomic bomb after it was dropped on hiroshima and is a picture taken from the American Plane that dropped it.

Thesis-
Dropping the two atomic bombs on Japan was justified because it brought an end to Japan's war of attrition, it saved an estimated 1 million lives, and it accelerated the United States post-war status as a super power.

This is a picture of the celebration after we ended WW2 after the drop of the atomic bomb.
